The REN-ISAC is committed to creating and maintaining inclusive and accessible cybersecurity resources for the research and higher education community. Accessibility enables a person with a disability the opportunities to effectively and equally acquire the same information, participate in the same interactions, and leverage the same services as a person without a disability.
REN-ISAC Accessibility Statement
Our Approach
The REN-ISAC mission is to aid and promote cybersecurity operational protection and response across the higher education community, and ensuring these capabilities are available to all our members is fundamental to this mission. Increased accessibility enables REN-ISAC to honor the unique and diverse needs of the security professionals we serve while providing the secure services and communications our community has grown to trust. This is why we’ve adopted the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA standards as our guide for our web sites and content. As REN-ISAC moves forward with our accessibility efforts, we look to continue the following:
- Collaborate with a trusted leader in web accessibility to evaluate and improve the accessibility of our public website and member services
- Work to improve and update current services to make them more accessible
- Prioritize accessibility as an important consideration when preparing, choosing, or evaluating new possible services
