Charles "Chip" Conner-Rondot serves as Chief of Engagement for the Research & Education Networks Information Sharing & Analysis Center (REN-ISAC).
As Chief of Engagement, Chip works with the wider team in leading the development and implementation of strategic engagement, which includes how to best position the REN-ISAC for continued successful relationships with current members as well as expanding its membership nationally and internationally. He also brings his talents with branding, marketing, and communications to the REN-ISAC with the goal of enhancing its visibility, reputation, and overall status as a critical higher education and research network cyber-threat information sharing alliance.
Since 1993, Chip has worked both in information technology and health in a number of roles, including as Director of Marketing & Communications for the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington, and Manager of University IT Communications for University Information Technology Services at Indiana University. He has presented at several professional conferences and was an early expert on using social media and related technologies for organizational communication and brand awareness. Mr. Rondot has multiple degrees from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and has served on numerous boards and professional organizations. His current affiliations include PRSA, AMA, EDUCAUSE, and CASE, among others.
